8th July

Despite the brisk wind it felt increasingly muggy today, with one spell when fog rolled in for a while at the Bill. Very little coverage was possible and the day's only reports were of 2 Common Scoter and a Manx Shearwater through off the Bill and 6 Dunlin and a Redshank at Ferrybridge.

Six Rusty-dot Pearl were the only immigrant moths caught overnight at the Obs.
